Bulletproof Brewing is well known for specialising in brewing traditional German-style lagers that are unfiltered, super clean, crisp, and vegan-friendly. They are currently located in Mutley Plain, a popular spot to try out their wide range of craft lagers.
The brewery was founded in 2016 by Paddy Lawrence, who started out brewing in a garden shed and joined soon after by Connor Johnson, before opening their first taproom on Mutley Plain in 2020. They have since expanded and are currently in the process of renovating the historic Octagon Brewery in Millbay.
Their lagers are available on tap at their taproom on Mutley Plain, as well as in cans from their online store and select retailers. They offer a range of classic lager styles and occasionally release limited-edition and seasonal lagers.
They are passionate about sharing their love of lager with the community and are involved in various local initiatives. If you’d like to get involved, they are always happy for chat.
